As part of a machine audit at the VariRoll winder, the experts from Jagenberg Paper developed measures to improve the machine in terms of safety and production quality. Combined with the customer request to upgrade the machine and drive control system to the state of the art, Jagenberg Paper has now received the order for this modernization.
The renewal of the entire control system includes also the possibility of individual adjustment of line loads and web tension so that the operators will be able to choose best possible settings in the future to the characteristics of the special paper grades produced in this mill. Jagenberg Paper technology experts will support the operators after the rebuild as part of the production optimization.
The on-site rebuild will take place in November this year.
