Jagenberg Paper GmbH has received an order from Perlen Papier AG to replace all frequency converters of the auxiliary drives on the two VariTop winders behind the PM7.
The spare parts inventory and fault susceptibility of the converters of all auxiliary drives are in need of improvement on the machines that have been in operation since 2010 and were successfully rebuilt by the experts of Jagenberg Paper GmbH. Because of a well-prepared concept, the rebuild and commissioning of the high-performance machines could be carried out as planned within a few days. These goals were achieved in full and to the complete satisfaction of Perlen Papier AG.
Perlen Papier AG located in Perlen in the canton of Lucerne, Switzerland, is one of the largest manufacturers of magazine and newsprint papers. The PM7 is one of the largest and most efficient paper machines in the world and produces approx. 360,000t per year.
