In order to bring a long-term production plant up to the current state of safety technology, Jagenberg Paper GmbH converted a Goebel winder based on a risk analysis.
The entire system was divided into different areas, which are released depending on the necessary operating steps and in compliance with the prescribed safety measures. The concept was drawn up together with the customer and an external safety specialist and specified in detail by the expertise of Jagenberg Paper. Modern protective components that are read into a new control guarantee the customer safe operation for both the operator and the machine.
All goals were achieved in full and to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
